2nd License Terms & Conditions

  • Waves Update Plan 2nd License Terms & Conditions

    Eligibility: You may receive a 2nd license for any software product (V9 and above) currently covered under the Waves Update Plan, except the excluded products listed below. Products covered under the Waves Update Plan and eligible for a 2nd license include:

    • New products purchased (automatically covered by the Waves Update Plan for one year).
    • Products for which the Waves Update Plan has been renewed.
    • Products with an active Waves Update Plan purchased from another Waves plugin owner (“Transfer of Ownership”) – subject to the limitations below.

    Excluded products: Excluded products: eMotion LV1, SuperRack SoundGrid, SuperRack Performer, MultiRack, SoundGrid Rack for Venue, SoundGrid Studio, and Online Courses.

    Registration: 2nd licenses are not registered automatically. Register them here.

    Expiration: The 2nd license expires when your Waves Update Plan coverage for the main perpetual license expires.

    Transfer of Ownership: The 2nd license is for use by the owner of the main product license only. You may not transfer ownership of the 2nd license to another person. Both licenses (main license and second license) must be deactivated before the main license can be transferred.

    Returns: If you return a product, both the main license and the 2nd license are returned automatically.

  • Waves Creative Access subscriptions 2nd License Terms & Conditions

    Eligibility: Beginning November 1, 2023, you will receive a 2nd license for any active Waves Creative Access subscription (Waves Essential or Waves Ultimate, annual or monthly plans).

    Registration: You must register your 2nd subscription license in order to be able to use your subscription on two separate systems at a time.

    Expiration: The 2nd license will become inactive at the same time that the main subscription license becomes inactive, whether canceled voluntarily, or canceled due to a failed payment.

    Terms of Use: The 2nd license is for use by the owner of the main product license only.

    Returns: If you return a product, both the main license and the 2nd license are returned automatically.
